I may as well continue this, despite the fact this site is (hopefully) temporary, and the host won't allow adult content. So, this is the clean version. Once the DMF gets back up, it will return to the adult version.

"Veral, are you okay?"
There was no reply.
Cadyn tried again. "Veral?"
"I'm mourning. Leave me alone."
"Veral, we're nearing Sadrith Mora."
"So?"
Cadyn sighed. "What did Master Gor'lak teach you? Sadrith Mora is the capital of the Telvanni lands."
"So?"
Cadyn sighed, this time even deeper. "Master Gor'lak was a member of Telvanni."
Veral got out of the dark cabin where he had been mourning, with his eyes wide.
"But Master was an orc! Isn't House Telvanni rascist against outlanders?"
"Yes, but Gor'lak was a very powerful mage. They make exceptions."
"How far off is it?"
Cadyn smiled, knowing that the boy would get out of mourning if he learned that the Telvanni Lords could find Gor'lak.
"Several hours. You can go to bed if you like."
"That's alright. I don't need to sleep. I'll keep looking through Master's notes."
Maybe he'll be okay after all...
"Okay, Talythia, you can guard the right. Randall, you can guard the back, me and Paula will guard the front, and Jovannes can guard the left."
"No, Silgan, you mean they WILL guard their positions."
"Of course, dear. Now, we're almost at Sadrith Mora. This is the most dangerous part of the trip. The Telvanni guard can't do anything about attackers until we're inside the city, so the Twin Lamps will most likely attack here. Be on the lookout."
"Sir?"
"Yes, Talythia?"
"I see several men to the right of our position. They look like Twin Lamp Emancipators."
Silgan winced, and whispered something into Paula's ear. Paula nodded, and addressed the group.
"Team, we're going to split up. Silgan, Randall and Vesid will stay behind, and Jovannes, Talythia, and I will continue toward Sadrith Mora."
Paula embraced Silgan, and looked into his eyes.
"Don't worry, Paula. I'll make it. I love you."
"I love you too, Silgan."
She let go of the dark elf, and took the slaves. Silgan drew his blade, and prepared for the fight.
"Cadyn, I want you to know why I cried."
"I think I know why."
"No, I already knew master was at a pocket plane. But I didn't believe it at first. Until you confirmed it, and then I just broke down."
"You don't have to apol-"
"But I do think I know where Master is now. But we need the Telvanni to tell us how to get there."
"Where is he?" Cadyn had a note of desperation in his voice.
"You'll find out when we get to Sadrith Mora."
Cadyn frowned, and turned away, then the boat began to rock.
The captain began shouting various orders at his crew. Another Abomination was attacking.
The captain yelled to Cadyn. "Get that boy to the safety rafts! This thing isn't going down without a fight!"
Cadyn looked over the edge of the boat. Nothing.
"Other side, lad!"
Cadyn ran to the other side, and gasped. A large dreugh, with twelve tentacles, three of which had blade-like claws on the ends, and the thing had four arms, two of which were the standar claws, the other two long, slender hands with eyes on the fingers. The head had remained the same, and was the only way one could tell that it used to be a dreugh. The tentacles wrapped around the boat as Veral got onto the lifeboat with the first mate.
Cadyn closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and jumped into the maw of the beast. _________________ AKA Vile_Temptress |
